Abstract
Heavy media separation was employed for pre-concentrating a lead-zinc run-of –mine ore from Zawar assaying 1.96% Pb and 4.34% Zn. Heavy media separation at a sp.gr. of 2.7 using galena as medium rejected 34.5% by weight of the material as float with a loss of 10.03% Zn and no loss of lead.
