Director's Desk - 70th RC Meeting of CSIR-NML (English Version)

Abstract

Hello and a very sincere and cordial welcome! I consider it a singular honour to be leading this august institution. I express on record my appreciation for the exceptional leadership shown by Dr. S. Srikanth, our last regular director. I also place on record, the gratitude of this laboratory for the guidance and facilitation provided by Dr. K. Muraleedharan, Director with additional charge, for almost a year after Dr. Srikanth relinquished office. I also take this opportunity to express our heartfelt thanks to this Research Council, for its patience, understanding and continued guidance of our efforts. It is always a pleasure to welcome the Research Council members and distinguished guests, and especially to this 70th RC Meeting of CSIR-NML. More than a year and a half has passed since the last regular RC meeting (the 68 ), although we did have a special RC meeting in January, 2016, with slightly off-beat agenda. In that meeting we deliberated on the vision, mission and mandate, goals & targets for our laboratory.
