Airframe structures are combinations of high strength light weight materials. Selections of materials are considered from smaller army aircraft to larger civiltransportation aircraft. Accident free constructions of aircraft structure produce economical transportation for passenger and cargo. High speed flights vary application of materials from civil transport Boeing 747 to concord. Studies of properties include mainly fatigue, fracture toughness, stiffness, strength, corrosion and thermal states effected properties, e.g., high speed flights which raise skin temperatures by air friction and turbulences.Exploration of composite materials have opened new ways of material application, however fuselage frame remains traditional. Larger air craft frames operate by load conditions by principle of cantilever. Variation of air pressures within air craft operate by additional stresses, e.g., Hoop stresses and circumferential stresses that fly at higher altitudes.
