Abstract

Current efficiencies of silver-zinc alloys deposited under controlled potential conditions have been found to depend upon the crystal structure of the phases being deposited. These current efficiencies have been correlated to the melting point, heat of formation and microhardness of alloy deposits. The alloys with maximum heat of formation and microhardness have been found to possess minimum current efficiencies
