Abstract

Geopolymers are amorphous to semi-crystalline synth-etic three-dimenional alumino-silicate mineral polymers resulting from geopolymerisation. Geopolymerisation includes chemical reactions between various alumino-silicate oxides and silicates under highly alkaline conditions, yielding polymeric Si-O-Al-O bonds.
