Abstract
The problem of Mixed convection about a vertical flat plate embedded in a porous medium is analyzed .Nonsimilarity solutions are obtained for the cases of variable wall temperature( as a function of distance) and a variable surface heat flux (VHF) in form of q=w(x)=bxm.This applies to all regions of convection,by two a nonsimilarity parameter from forced convection (c* or =1) to free convection (c* or =0).
