Abstract

Steel is an alloy of carbon in iron. In its different specific application this alloy is modified from assistance of different alloying elements. The traditional insight attendance has been a description to reproduce the contemporary strategies behind steel philosophies. As a versatile strength bearing materials it has both strategic and nonstrategic compositions. The review consisted basic physical metallurgy aspects, cryogenic applications, corrosion applications, architectural aspects from ancient civilization, industrial requirements, thermodynamics of solid phase transformation studies, marine and mining application of steel and related properties etc. Stain less steel occupies an important position in steel philosophies from cryogenics, hygienic and corrosion resistance properties in b.c.c., f.c.c. and b.c.t. forms of crystollagraphy. Steel in its various alloyed forms has considered mostly describing these crystallographic transitions under temperature and stress states. The attendance of nomenclature has been the primary study materials for international trade fair. Wear resistance applications for mine exploration and retrieval consumes a major portion of steel. In this case, wear property improvement has been the fundamental evaluation to increase life of equipments. 'Give yourself permission to be human' the sociological aspect has rendered strategy to be optimized from viewpoints of international strategy, national strategy, political strategy, strategies of new technology and thereby individual strategies on steel.
