Abstract

The era of the 21st century though dawned with remarkable technical advancements and developments. Yet the need of the hour is seen converging to optimization of the limited resources available. Each year, the industrial sector saw a boost in the production and manufacturing facilities with the ever growing standards of living. So, the prime arena of research turned out to be the materials with maximum practical usage and ways to maximize the service rendered over the lesser quantity which could be used. Recycling of the pre-consumed material and a reduct-ion in the amount of metal to be used became the prime concerns. The latter could however, be achieved by enhanc-ing the physical and mechanical properties of materials.
