CSIR-NML Institutional Repository and Global Visibility

Abstract

During the reporting period, NML's repository has attained high global visibility and also popularity. NML Scientists received 2680 enquires directly for their articles till Mar, 2012 which motivate them further to enrich the repository by uploading their research outputs. As a result, by the end of Mar, 2012 there were above 4326 uploads against 2450 documents in Mar, 2011. The researchers from several foreign countries are accessing NML Eprints Repository – a remarkable increase since inception. The top twenty countries were – United States, India, Russia, China, UK, Hong Kong, Germany, Netherlands, Iran, Japan, France, Italy, Canada, Korea, Ukraine, Brazil, Poland, Australia, Turkey, South Africa.
