Abstract
Hot working consists of mechanical processing of metals by techniques such as rolling, forging and extrusion at high homologous temperatures (T > 0.5 Tm). Obtaining a sound defect free product with close dimensional tole-rances by a "Right the First Time" approach is becoming increasingly important in the hot working industry.
