Abstract

In this paper, melt treatment of Zn-Al alloys has been discussed. The results on flux treatment have been dealt with a focus on improvement of tensile strength, wear resistance and integranular corrosion resistance. The results are adequately supported by optical and scanning metallographic studies. some results of Industrial trial on ZA12 alloy are also incorporated.
