Abstract

Micorstructural modifications have been about in a commer-ical grade HSLA steel, microalloyed with Nb, V and T1 with a view to improving the magnetic properties without much deterioration in the mechanical properties. The hot rolled steel has been annealed, and also quenched from 930 C and tempered in order to get spheriodised carbides.
