Abstract
Central Power Research Institute (CPRI), Nagpur approached National Metallurgical Laboratory (NML), Jamshedpur for conducting the SRT, Tensile and Flattening tests properties of the different types of Boiler tubes. They have supplied tube materials along with the testing parameters such as stress, temperature and test duration for conducting stress rupture tests. With reference to their letter the tensile and flattening tests are carried out at Room temperature. The stress rupture tests are carried out as per their specified test parameters.
