Basak, P and Saxena, B K and Das, B N (1968) Joining of Aluminium. In: Symposium on Non-ferrous Metals Technology : Papers for presentation, 4th - 7th Dec.1968, National Metallurgical Laboratory (CSIR), Jamshedpur.
Joining of Aluminium to itself or to its alloys can be performed by a number of methods. All conventional joining processes such as arc, resistance & pressure welding, brazing, hard and soft soldering have been successfully used for aluminium and its alloys. Very recently ultra-sonic welding, explosive welding and certain other specia-lised techniques have also been employed.
