Abstract
Creep Energy Dissipation (CED) rate due to crack-tip creep zone and load-line deflection rate are calculated under small-scale creep conditions for Compact Tension (CT) specimens of four different widths. It is observed that CED rate has a unique parabolic relation with the crack-tip stress intensity factor, K and thus it depends on the specimen width. Also, it is shown that the ratio of load-line deflection rate due to creep deformation to elastic load-line deflection is uniquely related to K.
