Abstract
The present paper reports the economical recovery of the gold in the process by adaptation of High Rate Thickener in the gold processing circuit. In view of vital importance to conserve the process water and reduce the quantity of make up water and also to reduce the mineral processing cost, the study was carried out to asses the flocculating performance of polyelectrolyte by studying the settling properties on gold ore slime in the pilot plant.
