Abstract

Absorption spectra of quiniquivalent vanadium with ammonium aurine tricarboxylate has been studied in the presence of several foreign ions. The advantage of this method is that it can be applied to all kinds of alloy steel containing low aluminium, copper and vanadium concentration. The accuracy obtained is within the accepted limits for routine determination and process control.
