Abstract
Thorough and systematic preparation of raw mixture, instrumental control over moisture, bed height, carbon content etc., improvement in transport and descent of charge from the raw mixture bin, use of suitable equipments for mixing, laying etc. have made it possible to upgrade the metallurgical properties of sinter and raise the specific productivity of sinter plants in USSR.
