Abstract
Geochemical and geophysical methods are normally employed in tapping mineral resources. 'Indicator botany' or 'Geobotany' is fairly a new entrant in this regard. The principle behind this method is that certain species accumulate selected elements and provide clues to the mineral resources. The present article covers the detailed geobotanical studies, which have been carried out in the Copper Belt of Singhbhum District of Bihar.
