Abstract

Using activation energy from change in lattice parameter in transformation processes that are governed by vacancy diffusion mechanism produce values that greatly differ from results obtained by using excess vacancy concentration. The present values analysis cover limitations of using jointly parameters like excess vacancy concentration, lattice parameter, thermal expansion to obtain sufficiently a reliable and accurate value of 'Q' (Miss R.
