Abstract
The problems encountered and solutions thereof to produce alumina insulation brick from fluid foam are discussed. Sintering and retention of shape, porosity and strength of foams were studied. These properties are graphically represented and a suitable composition was evolved. (All the authors belong to National Metallurgical Laboratory)
