Abstract

A spectrochemical method for determination of total and acid soluble aluminium in steels in the ranges 0.005 to 0.5 percent has been described in this paper. Intermittent arc technique using both solid and synthetically prepared standards has been adopted and an accuracy of 2 to 7 percent of the amount present is obtained. (Shri M.K.
