Abstract

Texture evolution during accumulative roll bonding of an Al–Mn (AA3103) alloy has been investigated up to five passes. It has been seen that the textural evolution has no similarity with the simple shear texture; the components can be well represented by the ideal rolling texture components. The textural components are also similar to those of conventionally rolled sample of similar strains with scatter around the ideal components.
