Abstract

The paper deals with some of the more recent theoretical methods, which have successfully attempted to explain the simple properties of liquid metals. Those discussed are (i) Bernal's statistical model, (ii) molecular dynamic models and (iii) Monte-Carlo models. The efficiency of these models in explaining the observed properties of the liquid metals are also included. (Shri C.S.
