Abstract
A few selected spectrophotometric methods to determine minor constituents have been reviewed to check their validity and applicability in mineral analyses for testing and quality control. The analyses of low grade copper ores from Khetri and Rakha have been discussed and the methods reviewed are expected to give satisfactory results to check the quality of low grade copper ores.
