Abstract
Various methods for analysing metallic, ferrous and ferric iron have been reviewed along with brief description. It has been observed that he dichromate titration method is more suitable as compared to other methods, if proper precautions are taken. (Shri K.K. Padhi, Shri A.C. Biswas and Dr. L.P.
