Abstract
The variation in chemical and mineralogical composition of blast furnace slags produced in India and in some countries abroad is dealt with. Availability of the blast furnace slags and studies so far carried out in NML and elsewhere in India on their chemical composition, mineralogical constitution and utilization are given.
