Welcome Address on the inauguration of the Seminar on Bacterial leaching of ores

Abstract

It gives me great pleasure to welcome you this morning to this functial for inauguration of the Seminar on 'Bacterial Leaching of Ores ' which incidentially is the first of this kind in the country. The topic is a new one and it calls for a great interdisciplinary cooperation from the different laboratories as well as other research institutes which are active in this area in this country. With this view, the laboratories which are now engaged in this field of study are coming together for a dialogue or multidialogue in the directio.i of making a constructive effort to tackle and developing the process which in other countries have been already commercialized and has proven a great success.
