Abstract

Raw materials such as iron ore, coal and limestone required for iron making in blast furnace and their testing methods are indicated. Certain test results on reducibility, decrepitation, crushing strength and physical strength of iron ores; shatter and abrasion strength of nut coke and low-temperature carbonized cokes and calcination characteristics of limestone are also discussed.
