Abstract
The oxidation resistance properties of a group of Fe-Cr-Al alloys have been studied. The oxidation rate, both under continuous heating and under cyclic heating and cooling was measured by gravimetric method. The scales formed were X-ray analysed. The presence of Cr was found to influence the oxidation behaviour considerably. (R.K. Haldar and A.K. Lahiri)
