Abstract
A spectrographic method of determination of magnesium in nodular cast iron by solution technique using synthetic standards has been described in this paper. Both porous graphite cup and rotating electrode methods have been adopted for these determination and their results have been compared with that of solid standard method. Results appear to be reproducible and co-efficient of variation ranges from 4 to 7%. (Shri M.K. Ghosh, Scientist and Shri H.K.
