Abstract

Experiments carried out in the Laboratory for electroplating chromium from solutions containing fluorides gave higher current efficiencies than the conventional sulphate solutions. Effect of calcium sulphate, calcium carbonate and strontium sulphate as catalyst in the bath has been investigated and high current efficiency is obtained with these catalysts. (Mr. D.S.
