Abstract
SHRI KANUNGO, SHRIMATI KANUNGO, Ladies and Gentlemen : I deem it a great privilege to have been called upon to preside over today's function which, as you all know, has been organised here to mark the Silver Jubilee of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. I am thankful to Dr Banerjee and his colleagues for their kind invitation and kinder sentiments towards me, And for all that has been said about my association with the CSIR and the National Metallurgical Laboratory.
