Abstract

RAJYAPALJI, SIR JEFIANGIR, Ladies and Gentlemen : I consider it a great pleasure and privilege indeed, to welcome you all at this historic function to mark the completion of 25 years of the working of the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. It is, indeed, a matter of great gratification and honour to us that Hon'ble Shri Kanungo, Governor of Bihar, kindly agreed to inaugurate the function, despite his multifarious activities and heavy responsibilities of the State. To you,.sir, one of the makers of modern India, we owe our sincere thanks and gratitude for the deep interest you are taking in the furtherance of research activities in the country.
