Abstract

WELDING is an important industrial process upon Which many major industries such as ship building, locomotives, heavy engineering and structural iron works depend for welding heavy plates of exceptional lengths and thickness. Major welding processes are forge-welding, gas-welding, resistance-welding, thermit-welding , induction-welding and arc-welding.
