Abstract

The heat content of liquid lead-antimony-tin ternary eutectic alloy has been measured in the temperature range 250-900°C with the help of an ice calorimeter. The data obtained was computed to establish the relationship of heat content with temperature. The heat capacity at different temperatures was then calculated. The relationship between heat capacity and temperature shows discontinuities for which no explanation can be advanced at this stage.
