Abstract
A detailed study on the properties of 1.S.6 and 1.S.8 types of fire-clay bricks has been made and results are presented and discussed in the paper. The properties of the bricks have also been compared to these of foreign made bricks. (H.P.S. Murthy, Scientist, T.K.
