Abstract
Some properties of iron ores indicative of smelting behaviour in blast furnaces have been evaluated. These properties included shatter, abrasion, decrepitation, crushing and compressive strengths (at room and elevated temperatures), reducibility characteristics and mineralogical analysis. (Mr. K.N.
