Abstract
Sealing of anodized aluminium has been highlighted, need focussed and recent developments in the seventies reviewed with reference to their importance, principles, mechanism, process techniques-equipment, presealing, operating conditions, economics and future trends. Some guidelines and typical sealing processes in tabular form are given from the practical view point. Pertinent reference are cited to enable ease of access to original literature.
