Abstract

This paper describes an electronic potentiostat, which automatically controls the electrode reaction under constant current or potential conditions and can be used for all types of corrosion studies. Details of circuit design and features of the instruments are incorporated in this paper. (Mr. S.K. Sarkar and Mr. A.P. Chowdhury, Scientists, National Metallurgical Laboratory, Jamshedpur. Mr. Sarkar is at present with Department of Electrical Engineering, Nova Scotia Technical College, Halifax, Canada)
