Abstract
A study has been performed to evaluate the comparative functioning of zinc chloride-ammonium chloride(AC) and zinc chloride-potassium chloride-boric acid (BA) baths and corrosion resistance and morphologies of zinc coatings produced from these baths. Effect of variations of current densities, time of deposition and concentrations of brighter on percentage Cathodic efficiency of the deposition have been studied. Potentiodynamic polarization studies have been studied. Potentiodynamic polarization studies have been performed to evaluate the corrosion resistance of the produced coatings.
