Abstract
The effects of grain refinement and precipitation hardening conferred by minor additions of Nb and V have been studied in both as rolled and normalised low carbon experimental steels. The mechanical properties of such steels are outlined and related to their structures. (Messrs J.A. Chapman, Special Project Leader, Metallurgical Division, BIRSA, R.
