Abstract
Details of an investigation into the cause of tube failure of a power house water tube boiler is described. Results of the findings indicated the failure to have been caused by the differential aeration phenomenon. Remedial measures have been recommended. (Mr. B.K. Guha, Junior Scientific Officer; Mr. P.K.
