Abstract
The symposium at Jamshedpur-where flags of different countries fluttered side by side in sunny Indian winter-provided a valuable forum for exchange of technical know-how on raw materials problems, processing techniques, size and layout of steel-works, with special emphasis on problems of expansion in rapidly developing countries.
