Abstract

The plasma processing is more versatile than the existing extractive techniques and plasma reactors can treat such materials which are difficult to process. The special feature of direct current is the ability to obtain long, stable arcs with independent current and voltage control. The design aspects of electrodes, plasma torches and plasma are reactors can be decided as per the requirements of the system. Plasma are reactors can render materials with improved service properties and are potentially viable in a number of applications.
