Abstract
The investigation was undertaken to assess the suitability for foundry moulding purposes of sand sample designated KS-6, received from the Department of Industries, Government of Punjab. The sand sample is reported to have been collected form a source at Khanpur Village near Chandigarh. As received, the sand sample was brown in colour.
