Abstract
The paper incorporates experimental results on comparative performance of various types of coatings normally applied on steel reinforcement bars embedded in chloride contam-inated concrete structures. It is observed that a new type of coating based on galvannealing of galvanized coating performs excellently well in comparison to the other coatings.
