Abstract
Water conditioning is often necessary where heat trans-fer operations are involved, such as, in cooling towers, condensers, air-conditioning plants, etc. If water quality is not properly controlled it may lead to any one of the following problems:
Scale formation
Corrosion
Organic growths(slime)
