Abstract
A boiler is a system in which water is heated and converted into steam. The steam may he used for process applications or for generating power - whether it is
motive power (such as in steam locomotive) or electric power. The main parts of a boiler for an electrical
power plant are the following: (a)Furnace (h) Waterwall tubes, (c)Superheater tubes, (d) Reheater tube, (e) Economiser. (1) Steam pipes and (g) Headers, Terminolog-
ies such as steani generators are used in some cases.
such as in nuclear power plants.
