Abstract

Jhamarkotra phosphate plant produces dolomite tailings containing about 4% P,O, which can be used as fertiliser and soil conditioner. For ease of dispersal in the farms, the powdered tailings have been rolled into microsized pellets using different binders. The paper describes the details of producing acceptable micro-pellets.
